Nevada Enacts Major Hospital Transparency Legislation

Nevada’s Hospital Transparency Act was passed in 2025 to fix widespread noncompliance with federal price rules and protect patients from surprise bills. Sponsored by Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager (D) and signed by Governor Joe Lombardo (R), the law is now in effect.
